EMILY JANE LOWE  BSc (Hons) LicAc MBAcC

REGISTERED ACUPUNCTURIST

After successfully completing a science and language based BSc (Hons) degree at Southampton University, Emily became increasingly interested in Chinese philosophy, especially surrounding health and medicine.  She subsequently completed intensive training at the College of Integrated Chinese Medicine to earn her BSc (Hons) and Licentiate of Acupuncture.

Her interest and experience in the practice of Oriental healing arts dates back to the late 1990s when she took up the study of T'ai Chi Chuan, Chi Gung and meditation to better understand the workings of both body and mind.

Emily practices from a private clinic in Shepperton, Surrey and a multi-disiplinary clinic in Sutton seeing patients on a one-to-one basis.  She is also a co-founder of the Surrey Phoenix Project in Woking, a Low-Cost Acupuncture and Homeopathy clinic providing accessibility to complementary medicine to those that feel it is normally out of their reach due to cost (at the Project, acupuncture treatments are carried out in a large communal treatment room containing 4 couches; multiple patients are treated an hour at staggered intervals to keep costs low for all) - Emily is not currently working at the Woking clinic.

Emily is highly committed to improve the health, wellbeing and vitality of her clients.
