Mrs K S - 55 years - Teacher's Assistant

"For several years I have been suffering with .  This continued for over 10 years and eventually spread through my whole body mainly affecting my muscles.  After several treatments with a chiropractor I managed to get better.  However, a year ago I accidentally picked up something from the floor and my back started to ache again.  Unfortunately .

I was seen by a consultant through my GP who diagnosed me with a syndrome called 'fibromyalgia'.  I had over 8 months treatment with the chiropractor yet again, but in vain!!  It was suggested/advised for me to try out acupuncture which I did.  At the beginning of my acupuncture treatment I was unable to walk as it affected my legs and especially my knees.  I had difficultly sleeping, standing, sitting, walking and going up the stairs was agony.

The acupuncture treatment I have been receiving through Emily has brought strength into my legs and body.  Emily did a complete consultation which was thorough.  She took the time to explain everything to me in detail about acupuncture and how it works.  She is very reassuring, sympathetic and the treatments I have received are never rushed but are dealt with in a superb manner.  She made me feel very comfortable and positive.  The results of acupuncture has made me feel different and to walk again properly is a great delight.

After every treatment I feel relaxed, fully of energy and it seems to give me strength.  Due to the improvement of my health, I am able to do my keep fit class, sleep better, walk again and enjoy my everyday activities.  Considering all the standing I do working in a school, acupuncture has had a fantastic response for me.

The massage [gua sha] that I receive with oils rubbed into my muscles is so beneficial; it takes away the pain and makes me feel comfortable.  The treatment seems to take away the stress and I am more relaxed after a session.

I would highly recommend acupuncture and have to admit Emily has changed my life for me through her work.  Thank you Emily."
